The media and the police, by urging the public to come forward with information about the criminals, even as the police and media withhold the victim’s own description of the criminals, send such a contradictory message that it paralyzes the minds of the public. A rare expression of rationality on the Israel-Palestinian issue, from Rep. Joe Walsh, Republican of Illinois. The two-state solution, he writes in the Washington Times, not only has repeatedly failed, it is inherently impossible:
The two-state solution can never work when one of the domains, the Palestinian state, does not even acknowledge the other state’s (Israel’s) right to exist and has as its entire purpose in life wiping Israel off the face of the earth….The only viable solution for the Middle East is a one-state solution: one contiguous Israeli state from the Jordan River to the Mediterranean Sea. Yesterday I asked for articles showing how mainstream conservatives are reacting to the news that white births are now a minority in the U.S. As for the liberal reaction, that’s no mystery, as made clear in this Jimmy Kimmel segment from late-night TV. As Buck, who sent the link, points out, “Clearly, the joke’s on us.”
How many Ross Douthat columns are worth reading? One out of twenty? One out of fifty? I just read his piece on the Elizabeth Warren Indian ancestry issue. It contained not a single interesting or new thought. The New York Times’ designated conservative op-ed columnist is a dullard. But I guess that’s better than their designated conservative columnist not being a conservative at all, namely the ridiculous David Brooks.
A week after 60 year old Harry Stone was shot dead by a black man in a passing car as he jogged in the Kansas City suburb of Raytown, police captain Ted Bowman is still completely stumped as to why Stone was killed.
“Even grasping at straws and imagining motives, we have been able to find nothing in the man’s background or time or place or associations or his relationships or his history,” Bowman has said.
Is Bowman really that stupid? Does he actually expect that there be some personal relationship between the community-minded Stone and the black lowlife who killed him? Is he not aware that when blacks murder or otherwise harm whites, it is almost always stranger-murder, and, in a great number of case, not done for reasons of robbery, but just to harm or kill or the sake of harming or killing? So why would there be anything about Stone’s background or time or place or assocations or relationships that would explain the murder? A black man killed a white stranger. It happens all the time. But Bowman, as your typical politically correct police captain, cannot openly state that, so he is compelled to keep looking for a relationship or a motive to explain the killing.
It’s also no mystery to the commenters at Lucianne.com, the first 11 of whose comments I’ve copied below. As one of them puts it,
“unexplained”—we now know what the code word is for black on white violence.Every sentient person in America knows the answer. But the police captain on the case professes not to know the answer.
I invite readers to send me any interesting articles they have seen showing the responses of liberals and particularly of mainstream conservatives to the news that white births are now a minority in the U.S. I’ve already read Thomas Sowell’s column on the subject, and found it disappointing. But since I almost always find Sowell disappointing (seeing one part of the truth, but never the whole picture, and never with any follow-through), I guess I can’t say I was disappointed.

I have read nothing from mainstream conservatives about this depressing milestone and doubt that we will, even though white minority status will mean the death of real conservatism as well as the GOP. Nothing will be done to limit drastically the tide of legal immigration from the Third World, the only thing that could conceivably slow or halt our demise. A bizarre event occurred yesterday afternoon in the Chicago suburb of Tinley Park. As reported by the Chicago Sun-Times, a gang of 18 men wearing hooded jackets with scarves covering their faces invaded the Ashford House restaurant and assaulted a particular group of about 20 patrons with metal batons and hammers. Reading the story, which says nothing about race, you would assume from their hoodies that the invaders were black. But that’s not the case. As reported further by Fox News in Chicago, the attackers were not blacks but a group of self-described “anti-racists” and “anti-fascists” called the Anti-Racist Action Group, all of them white, and the victims were white nationalists associated with neo-Nazi website Stormfront.
